Frequently Asked Questions | MAVRIK Properties

Question 1

What does MAVRIK Properties do?

Accepted Answer

MAVRIK Properties is a New Jersey real estate investment company. We evaluate properties for potential direct acquisition or other appropriate real estate transactions. We work with property owners who are considering selling and want to explore their options.

Question 2

Does MAVRIK purchase every property submitted?

Accepted Answer

We review each inquiry and determine whether the opportunity is a potential fit based on our current acquisition criteria. Not every property will meet those criteria, and we will let you know either way.

Question 3

What happens after I submit an inquiry?

Accepted Answer

MAVRIK reviews the information you provide and determines whether the opportunity merits further discussion. We may contact you for additional details where appropriate. If we don't see a potential fit, we'll let you know.

Question 4

Am I obligated to sell if I submit an inquiry?

Accepted Answer

No. Submitting an inquiry does not commit you to selling your property or entering into any agreement. You remain in control of every decision throughout the process.

Question 5

Do I need to make repairs before submitting?

Accepted Answer

No. We evaluate properties in all conditions — move-in ready, in need of cosmetic updates, requiring moderate or significant repairs, or needing major renovation. Please describe the property's condition honestly in the inquiry form.

Question 6

Can I submit a rental or tenant-occupied property?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The inquiry form accepts information about rental and tenant-occupied properties. Any potential transaction involving a tenanted property must account for the tenancy, applicable law, and agreed terms.

Question 7

Does MAVRIK evaluate inherited properties?

Accepted Answer

Inherited properties may be considered, subject to ownership, title, estate administration, and applicable requirements. Please describe the ownership situation in the inquiry form.

Question 8

What property types does MAVRIK consider?

Accepted Answer

We consider single-family homes, townhouses, condominiums, duplexes, small multifamily properties, and land. If you're unsure whether your property type qualifies, submit an inquiry and we'll review it.

Question 9

Will I receive a cash offer?

Accepted Answer

MAVRIK Properties evaluates each property individually. The structure of any potential transaction depends on the property, the circumstances, and what makes sense for both parties. We do not promise a specific offer or transaction structure to every seller.

Question 10

Are there costs or fees for the seller?

Accepted Answer

The actual cost structure depends on the transaction. There are typically no underlying costs when working with MAVRIK.

Question 11

How quickly can a transaction close?

Accepted Answer

Timing depends on the property, negotiations, title, contract terms, and closing requirements. Typical closing timelines range from 2-4 weeks.

Question 12

What areas of New Jersey does MAVRIK serve?

Accepted Answer

We are actively evaluating properties across New Jersey. Submit your property location and we'll determine whether it falls within our current focus area.
